description: The second Jefferson County courthouse was located at 17th & Arapahoe Streets in Golden, Colorado. The Modernist style building was built 1952-1953 at a cost of $840,000. It was 58,000 sq. ft. The architect was Henry Koch and the contractor was Mellwin Construction, Inc. It was demolished in 1999.
